Last night I was listening to Handel's Serse conducted by McGegan on
Conifer. Somehow, I have not been familiar with Brian Asawa's singing,
but I listened intently to him last night.

Asawa has a gorgeous voice at low to medium range; I was very impressed.
He sounded every bit as good as Scholl, Daniels, Bowman, and others. I did
have a problem with his high notes. Beauty was replaced by a few rather
mediocre sounds. I wouldn't say that his voice was falling apart, just
that it took on an unattractive "spread" at the higher registers. What's
your "take" on his singing and projection?
