I wrote a review of his Symphony in B minor and 3rd Piano Concerto. Do
you have access to American Record Guide? The review appeared in the
January-February 2004 issue, and I understand that a colleague is reviewing
another disc for the March April issue.

Very quickly, he was a Chicago composer with dates of 1896-1951. He
wrote a good deal of piano music and some choral works, among others.
I went into a lot of detail describing the works I reviewed in my review.
Put way too briefly, though he was an American, his music is strongly
late European Romantic.
