That's one of those extra-musical associations which is never forgotten.
Back in 1976, I was married, had two children, and had listened to a great
deal of classical music during my childhood.  There wasn't a chance in hell
that I was going to be impressed by the music to Star Wars, particularly
since my main concerns during the movie were to keep track of my kids, and
make sure they didn't interfere with other movie goers or get some sticky
food all over themselves or me.
