I'm a violinist, but what the hell!, my mamma always said that I had a
"celestial voice" (... in fact, there are divided opinions about this:
papa left us many years ago). However, since a few months I'm tryng my
first choral experience with GCCJ ["Grupo de Canto Coral Juvenil" de
Buenos Aires]. We are rehearsing a program entirely devoted to english
music: works of Thallis, Purcell and Charles Wood (our web-page is under
construction, but soon I'll send the link). Of the last composer, we
are singing a beautiful and "naif" song called "Full Fathom Five" (from
Shakespeare's "The Tempest"). I don't know nothing about this copmposer,
but I find this song very interesting. Could anyone tell me about his
works, recordings and (especially) biographical data?.
