>Hi, Jeffery -- Good luck on your Iraq project, but please clarify an
>apparent inconsistency. You post that your U.S. specialists "will
>introduce music and dance students from throughout the country to Jazz,
>Broadway, Hip Hop and other uniquely American performing arts." However,
>your scores are mostly Baroque and Classical European (Back, Vivaldi,
>Mozart, Beethoven, etc.).

Many thanks for your good wishes concerning this project. Actually,
the "inconsistency" is rather an indication of the scope of this endeavor.
We are sending the specialists as well as collecting the scores (and
other materials) so that the dance and music performance organizations
in Iraq will have not only instruction in these uniquely, mostly
contemporary, American performing arts, but also classical European
scores and parts and other badly needed materials they can use as well.
In both ways, we're trying to help them build their future.

Thanks for giving me the opportunity to clarify this.

Best always,

Jeff James
