Agree with Allen on this one.  Low levels or absence of AFB for one  season 
in your own area doesn't mean much.
 
As per resistance, I'm amazed that we got more than 40 years out of OTC  
before we saw resistant AFB.  That was a slow development, not quick at  all.  
As I understand, Wilson and others wanted EPA to approve OTC and  Tylosin, 
alternate years of use to try to avoid this situation. EPA only  approved 
the one, so we used it until the predicted resistance finally showed  up.
