Thanks for the link. I guess I was not aware that they were using
antibiotics to kill plants also as the term is generally applied to things
that kill bacteria, though I suppose it makes sense that some kill both.
Herbicide resistant genes made a lot more sense to me as does transgenic
rather than epigenic.
When I was in college there was a lot of talk about the fluorescent genes
and how useful they were becoming for looking at cell parts etc. Still no
glowing tree streetlamps yet though I guess.
