2 Things to consider as an urban or suburban beekeeper in addition to the
things which should be common sense.
 
1  give the close neighbor some honey even if you are just starting and have
to purchase it from another beekeeper. A jar of honey over the fence can cure
a world of ills.
 
2 dye your beesuit khaki - if you look like a nuclear spill team when you work
your hives you will attract the wrong kind of attention.
 
WARNING  Rit brand brown dye will turn beesuits pink you have to add some
olive green to get a decent khaki color.
