It may have been 10ºC today, but it is up and down like a yo-yo!  In the past couple of weeks we have had frosts down to -8ºC and a number of days when the max was only 2-3ºC.  Christmas day was unbelievable with 14ºC and the garden full of bees (we currently have 11 nucs and 6 full hives in the home apiary).  Seems to be good for the bees though - so far we have no losses, although it is way too early to start counting of course.
