I don't know if that says more about "most beekeepers", or the ABJ.

Personally, I find the ABJ, Bee Culture, The Speedy Bee, and, for that matter,
and bee magazine or newsletter fascinating, from cover to cover, however I
don't have the time to read them all and many issues sit around unread until
they get passed on to other beekeepers.

If I read them, I probably would not ask half the dumb questions I do.

Cost is a concern to many. Bee Culture is not too expensiv e outside the US,
but ABJ costs $61/yr for Canadian delivery.

However, fortunately, both ABJ and Bee Culture offer digital editions at a very
reasonable cost for those who just want to see a few articles or scan the ads.

Bee Culture:

The digital editions require a large monitor to be really useful, but sample
issues are available so prospects can decide if the format will work for them.
