Pennsylvania can pin point the exact years the event
took place due to the devastating impact absconding
feral colonies and varroa pressure had on domestic
colonies.

The same thing happened in California, Joe.  We treated with Apistan in
fall, then the collapsing feral population flooded our hives with fresh
mites and overwhelmed them.  This was about three years after varroa
arrived.
