Our temperature the other night was -46 deg F. An unusual event occurred 
about 2 am :  My truck, which was parked outside decided to blow its own 
horn. I put on my parka and snow boot, disconnected the battery and all was 
quiet.

Apparently, in VERY cold weather the plastic and foam which covers the horn 
mechanism shrinks so far that it pulls the horn button into contact with the 
horn ring.
