"There is no ban here.   We have that "reasonable" solution.  Farmers can still use neonic treated seed, but they will have to practice IPM and demonstrate that it is required."

As In understand the "ban" a farmer has to lose 30% of his crop before being able to use neonics - I can't see that as a reasonable solution !
The local farmers I talk to say they will just go back to aerial spraying.  Much more dangerous to my bees but then I didn't vote for these Liberal
do-gooders  so I can only hope my bees survive it.
