By the way,  I no longer see effects since soil injection stopped.  In
addition to the dust problems I think soil injection around fruit trees and
for forestry applications is problematic.

I would like to point out that Christian Maus is an employee of Bayer crop
science.  His name is on tunnel studies of imidacloprid with R. Schmuck.
His inclusion on the EU panel developing guidelines for neonicotinoid
evaluation (7 pesticide company experts on a panel of 17) has not sat well
with many people.

Most of the field tests are done by the companies so it is convenient if
they overide other data.
