 Wasn’t there a point made
 earlier that during spring’s rapid population build up,
 all incoming pollen is consumed as fast as it comes in?
 There’s no time for the pollen to start being broken up by
 the chemical reactions inside the bee bread. So the bees
 must have the ability to digest fresh pollen. Am I wrong

I think there is some confusion here.  Randys comment was that FORAGERs. Wer not using the poleen as the need carbs.

Kirk Andersons work clearly shows there is no beifit or need for bee bread and bees prefer the fresh food. So yes they can and do consume it as fast as it comes in at tomes. But its nurse bees doing that consuption.

The bee bread breakdown is a misconception accprding to that work
