I am wondering if body stress due to heat stress might not also aggravate the body's reaction to stings.  Working in LA (Lower Alabama), I have been drinking copious amounts of water and find myself (and clothes) soaking wet as if having been caught in a rain shower after working an hour or two in the late morning heat.  So far, I have not had any problems with either heat reactions nor sting reactions.  But I do stop and rest more frequently between bouts of work when the temps are higher.
