I have done the test, not using milk, but using skim milk powder mixed in
water, as described in Hive and Honeybee under Holst test.  When positive,
the milk cleared, it did NOT coagulate.  It also did not take an hour,  it
cleared after about five minutes of gentle stirring by swishing the tube
around.  The initial solution was less white than real milk.
