Thank you for a reality check, Dave, as some appear to be on the verge of
hyperventilating!

I posted the link to the excellent study on Iowa gamebird populations, and
the causes for their declines.  Have any of those who posted above taken
the time to actually read the study?  This is supposed to be an "informed
discussion" group, which means that one should not post until one has made
some sort of effort to become informed.
