> What do mushrooms and rotting logs have to do with bees? More then you would ever think is the answer. The video > is rather long but worth sticking with, the application to honeybees is about half way into the clip.  


As a beekeeper... and an avid follower of Stamets, I very much enjoyed this. I grow mushrooms too, and have two of his books. Stamets is well-informed in fungi, and it was interesting to hear he kept bees. The connections he's making between fungi and all life are profound.
