Greetings Friends of the Bees!

We have a lot of wonderful news to share about the documentary!

After numerous requests from teachers and students we will be cutting the film
down to 30 minutes – a length suitable for the classroom. In order to do this
we decided to launch another Kickstarter campaign. And we would like your help!
Please visit our Kickstarter page – and share it with your friends on facebook,
twitter, etc. to help us in our quest to bring Vanishing of the Bees to
students everywhere. Click the icon below to visit our page.

And more good news! First and foremost – Vanishing of the Bees will be
screening at the United Nations in Brussels during the first week of June as a
part of World Environmental Day - and the film will also be playing at UNESCO
in Paris. And it looks very likely that the UN in New York will be hosting a
screening of the film for World Environmental Day as well.

Ellen Page was on the Bill Maher show and spoke about the documentary and the
bees at length. This brought us a flood of interest in the film and raised
awareness about the crucial issues surrounding Colony Collapse Disorder and our
food supply.

Also, Vanishing of the Bees was selected to play in the Do Something Reel Film
Festival being organized by Whole Foods. The documentary is playing in 70
cities across the U.S. So check our website for a screening near you!

With all the buzz we are busier than ever - but incredibly happy to see the
film getting out there with such great momentum. It is really speaking to
people and we are constantly getting heartwarming emails from people concerned,
moved and inspired by the film – planting gardens, hosting screenings and even
keeping bees! Thanks to people like you our hive is growing, raising awareness
and inspiring people to “Bee the Change” they want to see in the world.

Sweetly,

George and Maryam
