Hi everyone

I am not very fan of oxalic acid as varroa control, however I have tried
both known method by me: vaporization in the hive and dribble/spray on the
frames/bees.

The question arises to know if anyone have heard of using oxalic with
poweredsugar left on top of the frames?.

At the location of Perú where I am helping to develop a comertial
beekeeping operation for pollination purposes they use a mixture of 1g of
oxalic dehidrated acid plus 40g powdersugar, they also add 1 g of
oxitretacicline for each colony. They repeat the dose after 12 days. This
treatment is done 3 to 4 times a years.

I doubt this mixture have much effect over varroa, but for sure is hidding
many other problems.

Anyone have heard of such method with or without antibiotics? Would the
bees ingest the oxalic acid given this way of application?
