I kept pollen patties on all summer [Megabee] and fed most of the summer. We had a good flow of aster and goldenrod in the fall. However, I still had significant losses from all my new hives. Mite counts were below threshold, some with 0 mites [Medhat Shaker]. Did not treat for nosema, and saw no evidence of it in my dead outs. 5 frame nucs [single and 2 story] did best coming through the winter.
