The Second National Symposium concerning bees will be held at USP in
Ribeirao Preto, Sao Paulo, Brazil
 June 6-9, 1996, along with an International
Symposium of IUSSI - International Union for the Study of Social Insects
 
Prof. Carlos A. Garofalo is the president of the organizing
committee.
 
This will be mostly in Portuguese, though many speakers from overseas
will give their talks in English.
Here I give the original titles and translations to English where
appropriate:
 
Opening Talk: Os heteroalelos XO nas populacoes de abelhas by
Warwick E. Kerr (The XO heteroalleles in bee populations)
 
Symposium I.  Metodologia para caracterizacao de polimorfismos em abelhas
(Methodology for the characterization of polymorphisms in bees)
