Hi all, just to follow up a bit: Went in to the bee yard again after
a week - apprehensive enough that I brought along the epipen in my
pocket for the first time ever. Ironically, I went in with a jar to
gather some bees to sting a friend with arthritis. Once I had a few
in the jar, I couldn't help doing a little work, combining a couple
weak hives, and checking in to see if they're set for the goldenrod
(already blooming). In the process, I managed to get a few stings,
and I'm happy to report that I had the usual minor reaction - some
redness that was gone after an hour or so. No cramping, dizziness, etc.

And on the flip side, I managed to place a couple bees in the right
spots for my arthritic friend using tweezers. It was a little clumsy,
but fairly easy. Looking forward to hearing how she feels this week.

cheers
Kurt
