Folks,

I've been being very lenient regarding quotes lately. For discussion I am
quoting the entirety of the last approved post:

"I've come to find out some Honey producers don't wash incoming glass
containers for packaging honey. This practice is quite the norm for plastic
squeeze containers molded in a food grade facility and shipped in tied off
or shrink wrapped plastic packs. I'm interested to hear what other
producers do for preparing their packaging before filling for sale. Anyone
using compressed air to blow out any debris from containers for example?"

Most likely your state and local health department have an opinion on what
should be done to sanitize the glass containers. Best to follow their
procedures/policies.

The contributing author quoted twice what they added to the discussion! I
do not see anything in the quoted material that isn't included in the
subject header "Re: Glass washing
<http://community.lsoft.com/scripts/wa-LSOFTDONATIONS.exe?A2=BEE-L;b701cb95.1503>".
"Subject:" headers define threads; Quotes are repetative and boring. The
guideline to quote only what is necessary to make your point is not vague.
"Do not include excessive quotes of previous submissions. If you must
quote previous postings, include only what is necessary to make your point.
Submissions that include the entirety of previous posts will be rejected
without comment or notice." More times than not, quoted material is
incuded in the "Subject:" header. Please keep this in mind when you
contribute to BEE-L.

Aaron Morris - thinking excessive quotes suck! And you can quote me on
that.
