  Maybe they don't like blueboard? That would be my guess. Having used 
styrofoam, pinkboard and blueboard for decades...and some I have is the 
first I ever bought, I cover the inner cover escape hole so they won't 
chew it. Mice ar more of a problem. Foam works well for inner cover 
insulation as long as there is no burr comb to hold the foam away from 
the inner. Never a wet spot above the cluster. Nice in the spring, too 
as you can tie it in bundles and store away for another year. Not easy 
to tie pillows, is it?
