A quick google search for Maxant 1400:
http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2005-04,RNWE:en&q=Maxant+1400
lists models available at Betterbee (I did not call to see if they have one in stock), a used one for $500 in New Mexico, plus a few other catalog listings. You also might try some of the used beekeeping equipment services.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&rls=RNWE,RNWE:2005-04,RNWE:en&q=used+beekeeping+equipment&spell=1

Watch the wrod wrap on quoted urls. Both urls should be a single line only.
