The term inbred drones appears in the literature and they have been shown to be less vigorous:

Chill coma temperature – i.e. the temperature
at which the animal becomes motionless
– was found to be higher in drones (~14 °C)
than in workers (~11 °C) (Free and Spencer-
Booth, 1960), and was found to be even more
elevated in inbred drones (Moritz, 1982).

Differences in drone and worker physiology in honeybees (Apis mellifera)
Norbert HRASSNIGG, Karl CRAILSHEIM
Apidologie 36 (2005) 255–277

I tried to access the reference but it is in German and also, behind a paywall.
