Welcome to Bee-L, Jose, and thanks for coming out of the Lurker closet : )

For those of you who don't know, Jose retired this week from the Baton
Rouge ARS bee lab, after a long career of excellent work on varroa,
tracheal mite, mite resistance mechanisms, breeding of mite resistant
stock, Africanized bees, etc.

Jose has long followed Bee-L discussions, but has been pretty quiet. I
hope that he becomes a regular contributor!
