Hi All,
My first query to the Bee-L, but I hope this is a good one worthy of the
vast knowledge you all offer.

I've got a few apiaries in Sonoma county, CA, where fires are raging
through neighborhoods as we speak. I've not been able to get up there to
check, the smoke is too bad and I'd rather keep out of the way. I'm
wondering what recommendations you can give me for after fire care,
assuming the hives aren't in the path of the fire and make it through ok.
What should I expect, and is there anything I can do to help them recover
faster?
My observation hive about 1.5 hours from the fire,s but still in the path
of smoke and falling ash, is hunkered down in a tight cluster as far from
the hive entrance as they can get, with few foragers venturing out...

Thanks!
