Sort of.  Not quite on the scale of the US but heading that way for 
almonds.  I am not aware that Spain has large scale pollinators.  
Following Apimondia a few of us visited some full time  beekeepers in 
Spain.  We asked about pollination, in particular as regards almonds.  
They seemed nonplused at the very concept.  Maybe lost in translation?
