Well, many of us using Thunderbird or WLM Ddesktop have our BEE-L
messages filtered into a special folder and can search back quickly.

We also have rules in our webmail to label them. Some read their mail
in threaded view on whatever reader they use. I don't usually. since
threads tend to get interrupted and re-started.

The web interface and archives at http://www.bee-l.org do thread the
messages nicely and one can navigate by message, thread or author.
There is one small problem, though: the logs are in monthly chunks
and if a thread goes over a month end it has to be found again in the
next log.

I use the web interface quite a bit for reading, searching, and posting.

I'm glad you asked and if others can add to this or bring up other
questions about the threads or archives, please do.
