I have carpets in front of all my hives so I can see what gets dumped out
from the entrance.

Every time I have used the DIY formic 65% 32ml pad I have few or no dead
bees on the carpets. I use one in the spring as a quick knock down.

Same with OA vapor treatment, no dead bees.

MAQs always have a load of both dead bees and pupa.

I find the carpets (most are from my car) to be a better indicator of what
is going on than opening the hive and looking for problems as the problems
are usually dealt with by the bees.and dumped on the grass where they
disappear (but do not with the carpets). So you can get an incorrect
diagnosis of the effect of MAQs or whatever as the bees have removed the
evidence.

Got the same kind of kill from the 100 ml 50% fume board type formic
treatment. Both are designed as one time treatments because they also get
to the mites in the cells which means they are fairly potent and dead bees
and pupa are unfortunate side effects.
