Excuse me for intruding - I don't browse the list much anymore, but...

Have any of you read Justin Schmidt's papers on swarm traps?
The works you are citing are fairly old, and although Schmidt worked 
back in the 90s, his traps, pheromones (not his mixture, but tested 
extensively and upgraded by him and Steve Thoenes), and especially his 
pheromone delivery system are proven superior to the ones I see cited in 
these recent posts.
    - John Edwards, formerly at Tucson Bee Lab, from back when there was 
actual research being done there.
