Perhaps you need to start selecting for better tempered bees?  This week we 
have been working with the bees every day - all day! - have removed 1/2 ton 
of honey, returned wet supers and spent many hours setting up mating nucs 
etc.  The weather has been very mixed.  I have had just one sting.
