I am curious, can you tell us what exposure levels you can/dodetect??

I'll post next week - we've preliminary thresholds for acute and chronic exposure by ingestion and by contact. Today we're uploading and filing everything and then we all need some sleep - proposals with both a research plan and a commercialization plan take a bit of work. Thanks to everyone who sent letters - they are important to SBIR proposals.

Don't know what SBIR is? Look it up - open to almost all small businesses in USA. SBIRs are mostly stand-alone, the small business is the primary applicant, can have limited input from academia. STTIRs are a variant allowing more academic (university) participation. Almost every Federal agency has an SBIR/STTIR program, most with annual calls for proposals. I've been on both sides of the fence - a reviewer for the National Science Foundation's (NSF) SBIR sensors program, and successful applicant to DoD and USDA. The last 5 year renewal of SBIR/STTIR changed the game - now the VCs have managed to get their oar in the water - good/bad depending on whether you've an Angel Investor. Most startup companies don't. A note - the federal definition of small business is rather loose - most of us would consider the upper limit to be a relatively large company. Most on this list from the US would easily qualify as a Small Business.
