I apologize if this has been mentioned as I have just skimmed the
conversation, but when handling Mite Wipes (Formic soaked Dri Loc 50s).
Place prepared pads in a freezer overnight and take to the field in a
insulated box or Coleman Cooler. Much nicer to apply for the applicator
(still wearing protective gear) and the bees (slows release by a couple
minutes initially). We make them up in small pails (single yard size) in
spring and big pails (multiple yards an hour) fall. We made insulated
(1"Styrofoam lined) supers that tie into the load. They hold 5 small
pails or 1 large one.
