That first paragraph, "The Bee Breakdown", is filled with more incoherent
mush than is worth going into, from confusing honey production and
pollination businesses, bemoaning that bees don't get to "hibernate"
anymore, to stating that it's unnatural that honey should be available in
stores in the winter time....

But their main marketing drive is to "Save the Bees" and the main way to do
this is to use less honey. If only those mean beekeepers would stop
stealing honey from the bees, everything would be OK. Actually, if there
are almost no viable feral colonies in anywhere close to the numbers that
are needed, then beekeepers are the only reason that sufficient bees
exist. Hobbyists aren't going to be able to shoulder the burden of
charitably keeping enough bees for pollination, so it has to be a
business. There are only two: pollination (which in their narrative is the
one thing worse than stealing honey from the saintly little buggers), and
honey production. In other words, an economically viable value chain
sustainably producing a salable product is the best way to "save" the
honeybee. If somehow everyone stopped eating honey and started using
"honee" tomorrow, that would be a bigger threat to the honeybee than varroa.

And while they mention several times that their "honee" is made from
apples, it's also made with lemon juice and cane sugar. Which fits the
organic/sustainable/healthy story line not as neatly.
