I believe that Jean-Pierre chapleau indicated that when frozen, the
combs could be readily stripped, as the comb disengaeges from the
foundation with a little flexing.
 
Perhaps he will elaborate on this.  I haven't heard from him lately.
I imagine like many beekeepers he is pretty busy right now.
