Paul left off the next paragraph from the above by Professor Goulson ( 
Professor of Biological Sciences Scotland and has worked on over fifty 
studies since 1993 which are listed at his website)
 head of the study:

Goulson dismissed as "nonsense" Julian Little's suggestion that the doses 
given to the bees were higher than in reality. Both Bayer & Defra suggested 
other field studies had shown no harmful effects to bees. Goulson said:"if 
they have done these studies ,where are they?They are not in the public 
domain and therefore cannot be scrutinized. That raises the question of just 
how good are they".
