Gary,
        As a subscriber to both bee-l  and scouts-l, your post interested me
greatly.  This is one merit badge that was recently retired (along with about
seven others).  I was sad to see this badge go and am interested in your
reference to a reversal. Can you shed any light on this???  As a biologist
and a scout leader, I certainly would like to see the beekeeping merit badge
reworked and re-established.  Thanks for listening.
