Great link - thank you!!!!

Dean and I are giving a somewhat related talk at Boston University on Saturday, Feb 23 at 3 pm in a giant, inflatable beehive:

http://festooning.wordpress.com/events/

My segment is on "Family Values" as expressed through honeybee biology and behavior. The section on bees and plant reproduction is titled "Inter-species Three-Way". The workers are technically virgins but they "saladize" the flowers. "Inter-species Orgy" is probably more accurate but I'm trying to keep the talk somewhat "family friendly" :)

Maybe we'll see some of you next Saturday - the event goes from noon til 7 pm. Make sure your pollen baskets aren't too full as you will have to crawl through a small hole to enter the hive...it will be worth it!

Ramona
