I am new to the site but have found it to be a tremendous
source of advanced information.
All my colonies are of the 4.9 size and I have been using
Dadent's long hook wax foundation.
It works - and I don't seem to find issues with comb draw
however....it also has drawbacks.
My heat here just south of Nashville TN seems to warp the
wax badly prior to the comb being
drawn so we unfortunately get some pretty sloppy frames and
it makes a mess during honey
extraction. I need a foundation that will stay uniform and
my only option is plastic.
Please advise me as to where I can find some 4.9 plastic
foundation that is washed and waxed.
I need this ASAP.
Thank you,
