Amy:

I responded privately to Bob. I had similar symptoms and it was diagnosed by Allergy specialist. It is caused by bee hair. People work with moths, butterflies, bees, scales and hair get into the lung and cause cough, irritation all the way to anaphylactic shock. Basically, I changed my habits around the bees. If I can stay away during shaking bees, I shouldn't sniff much hair, recommended to wear a mask for fine particles, take antihistamine whenever I am around bees if needed; and just use my common sense to avoid bee hair.

It did work for me. By the way the first thing my allergy doctor said change career, I laughed and said no way. Then we work on a solution. By the way you can be sensitized against this type of allergy but it will take years.
