Bob, word on the street is the real "Willie" went and got himself "a store bought", here's hoping it isn't so.

.............

Thanks for your info on the Allegany, like the old song goes,

"daughter, dear daughter, he is a married man, let him take his own wife wth him, 'cross the blue mountain to the Allegany"

When I lived in Virginia eons ago, I lived between that "blue mountain" and "the Allegany", the Allegany was the next ridge over, in the heart of the Appalacian Mountains.

Mike, the one LA, you got me to go dig out my copy of Harlow and Harrar, in fact they show two discrete botanical ranges for Robinia pseudacacia one in the Ozarks and the other in the Appalacian Mountains with a lot of blank space between them on the map.

http://www.plantmaps.com/nrm/robinia-pseudoacacia-black-locust-native-range-map.php

also shows a lot of other little "islands", near both main ranges, that Harlow and Harrar doesn't, I'll stick with Harlow and Harrar.

...............

Grandson! Mike, the one in VT, are you trying to make to make me feel old? The late Charles Mraz wasn't exactly my contempary but then neither is his son, now you are telling me the third generation is up and running? Dang, gotta get out of this wheelchair and go take my nap.

...........

I have to admit the last two "digests" have been the most interesting in a long time. If you want to see "Google translate" at it's "best" take something in English into something else, even say German or Dutch, cut and paste the translation back in and translate that into English, it's chuckle. So much for machine translation.

Speaking of "chuckles", is that Tomasko I hear "sniggering" in the background?
