Dr. Hachiro Shimanuki of the Beltsville Labs has sent me instructions
on how to submit samples of bees, brood and comb to his lab.  I would be
happy to post to the list if there is sufficient interest, or just drop
me a line direct to [log in to unmask], and I'll forward a copy to you.
