I just got a full bee suit recently from pestmall.com for about $65. Veil is plastic mesh and suit appears to be fairly decent material. I've only used it so far to remove bald faced hornet nests as I hate suiting up in the Georgia heat and humidity. Bad enough with just a T-shirt and light veil. The hornets are much larger than honey bees and I can see where they stung the suit in numerous places and none penetrated to flesh.
