I can tell you the organic hives must have certified organic beeswax
foundation and even the hive paint is regulated. Each hive must have
individual records and the beekeepers and honey processor are audited regularly.

I have to say: all for what? So somebody can cast aspersions on honey produced in the conventional way? I have heard people (who should know better) say that all honey is "contaminated." It is widely known that environmental pollution is everywhere but despite that, people are living longer than ever. I am 100% in favor of trying to maintain a clean safe environment but not in favor of righteously condemning products with little or no justification. Heck, my supers don't have any paint on them at all! But that's because I am lazy, not because of the remote possibility that some paint will wind up in on somebody's pancakes.
