This notion appeared in 2011. The link shows a 'modern hive' for urban apartments. The hive is fixed to the inside of a window, even has a flower pot on the outside of the window, and a pull string at the bottom of the inside part of the hive for 'releasing' the honey.

Google the images, you'll see pictures of urban apartment dweller's using a MUCH prettier version of the "FLOW" and the same can be said about the model's in the pictures.

Much repeated by blogs, often asked about in our ONLINE courses - it's all some designer's version of the land - nay apartment, of 'milk and honey' and 'save the bees' without any real knowledge of bees. It's even been advertised For Sale, but this one, at least, doesn't exist, except via Photoshop. If your're going to launch a Kick Starter version, I want this one - although how the string releases the honey must be a trade secret.
