Peter Edwards < wrote:  66% of winter losses were queen failures with 2010 queens; we have also seen early supersedure in addition to the losses.  Older queens seem to be still going strong!

Thus it would seem that some condition(s) that was/were peculiar to last year during the time you raised and mated your 2010 queens made them more susceptible to failure.  Do you have anything in your notes that might point to some possibilities for this?
